Teacher
Mr. Ayami
Born in 1996. Born in Nagasaki Prefecture. Living in a camper. In the places he visits, he uses locally available waste materials to create ``artworks that make viewers think about the future'' by confronting local issues and the thoughts of producers. He works as a messenger through art, accurately conveying various issues, thoughts, and the current situation to the whole country.
〈Thoughts about activities〉
In 2020, I learned about the current situation of coral in Okinawa and started thinking about the environment. He begins a journey to turn scrap wood into art with the hope that his paintings will be of some use, but each time he visits the source of the scrap wood, he learns that the scrap wood is nothing more than a "result." There was a social issue in which waste materials became waste materials. Moreover, many of these social issues were things that we were not conscious of even in our daily lives. If each individual becomes aware of this, it will be a big step towards solving social issues. I wonder if I can use pictures to create an opportunity to bring about this awareness. Although I keep my works on hand for the purpose of disseminating my work, I sell them in case they are displayed in a place where many people can see them or where there is a strong connection with the work.
